3. Rust spots often appear on the joints of the umbrella ribs or brackets, which makes the umbrella difficult to open; you can wipe it with a soft cloth and apply a proper amount of hand cream. It is recommended to apply the rusty parts of the umbrella ribs when you buy a new umbrella. Metal polishing wax can permanently prevent rust, and is more beautiful and lasting.
